2024 marked our 14th Celebration NYE at the Museum of Contemporary Art, and what a night it was! This year, we honoured the incredible DJ Mark Alsop as he celebrated 40 years of DJing and officially became our first-ever Resident DJ for Celebration NYE. Guests were dazzled by a stunning fireworks show, electrifying entertainment from the fabulous Frock Hudson (yes, “Defying Gravity” brought the house down, mop and all!), and a phenomenal DJ set where Mark Alsop was joined by DJ Nate, back for his second year on the decks.

It was another sold-out event—selling out faster than ever! Our chic “white” theme once again set the tone for an evening of elegance, fun, and unforgettable moments. Held at the breathtaking MCA with the Sydney Harbour fireworks as our backdrop, Celebration NYE has truly cemented its reputation as Sydney’s premier LGBT+ New Year’s Eve party.

This year, we welcomed guests from across the globe, with over 65% traveling in from countries such as Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, Colombia, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, the UK (including Great Britain, Ireland, and Scotland), Italy, Hong Kong, South Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Slovakia, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, South Africa, and, of course, our fabulous Aussie attendees. It was a truly international night of celebration and connection!
