Gay Ski Week Australia is the updated and expanded, fabulous gay ski festival previously known as the Frosty Fruits Ski Trip (running since 2009) and produced by Points of Difference Travel & Events.
In celebrating our tenth year of snow play, we have dialled up the frosty fun and literally pushed the boundaries of the event. Now covering two amazing resorts and running over two weeks, we guarantee you one HELL of a gay time!
This year’s trip offers two by four-night programs (one for each resort) or one amazing eight-night experience across both resorts.
The packages specially listed for you below all include our entry level Valley Value Events Pass. As a Midsumma member or friend, you receive upgrades on:
- Queer Shorts Film Fest Upgrade (Falls Creek). Upgrade to priority seating and dinner at Bazaar Restaurant, valued at $60
- Invitation to Mountaineers VIP Cocktail Party (Hotham Alpine Resort). Party at the top. Enjoy home-cooked canapes and substantial snackings, coupled with lovely Brown Brother’s wines, valued at $48
Plus all lift ticket holders will receive daily FREE ski or board lessons worth over $420 at both resorts.

This amazing alpine experience kicks off on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Falls Creek Resort (VIC), before transferring to Hotham Alpine Resort on Sunday September 9. Guests can book into either resort or combine both into a fabulous and uniquely Australian winter pride event!

Important Notes
- Deposits: to confirm any package, you can pay in full now or a deposit of $650 with the balance due 30 days prior. Simply select this option when checking out (which requires no immediate payment, and we will contact you to arrange deposit).
- Timeout errors: we are aware that when confirming large packages (ie Combo types) there is sometimes a timeout issue. Please try confirming again and if not successful, please call us. We are working on this issue.
- Hotham only packages: If you are interested in joining the trip for only the Mt Hotham dates (9th to 13th September), select the BYO option above or please call us and we will quote you.
